The new Skills Framework Manager provides a dedicated, streamlined interface for managing your organization's skills, proficiencies, labels, and job roles. The Skills area has a new look, and you will find new dedicated sections under the Create menu.

Here’s how to use the key features of the new Skills Framework Manager:
1. Managing Proficiencies
The Proficiencies section allows you to define the required levels for any skill within your organization.
- Navigate to Create and select Proficiencies.

- To add a new proficiency level, click Create.

- Enter a Name (e.g., "Beginner") and a Definition for the proficiency level.
- Click Save to add your new proficiency level to the list.

2. Creating Labels
Labels are used to categorize and organize skills based on various criteria.
- Navigate to Create at the left side of the page and select Labels.
- To create a new label, click Create.

- Enter a Name and a Definition for the label.
- Click Save.

3. Adding Job Roles
The Job Roles section lists all defined roles within your framework.
- Navigate to Create at the left side of the page and select Job Roles.
- To add a new job role, click Create.

- Type in the Name and Definition for the desired job role.
- Click Save.

There is also an option to upload via spreadsheet by contacting success@filtered.com.
- Note: In a future update, Gen AI features will be introduced to help automatically generate job role names and definitions.
- *Proprietary Mapping: Label and job role mapping is automatic, based on proprietary filtered AI and relevance technology.
4. Creating and Configuring a New Skill
The Skills page has been updated to show a clearer overview of existing skills, including their description, associated labels, job roles, and proficiency levels.
You can add new skills either by clicking Create skill to add a single skill.
To create a new skill manually, follow these steps:
Step A: Basic Information
- Navigate to the Skills page and click Manage.

- Select Create Skill.

- Give the skill a Name (e.g., "Agile Processes") and a Description.

Step B: Add Proficiencies
- Click on the Proficiencies tab.
- Define the Proficiency levels by typing a dedicated Description for how that level applies to this specific skill. Adding the Proficiency levels is not a mandatory step to add the skill.
- Click Continue.

Step C: Define Asset Relevance
- Review how existing assets apply to this new skill.
- You can make changes to the skill's definition if necessary.
- Choose the relevant threshold you want to see applied to assets.
- Click Continue.

Step D: Map Labels and Job Roles (automatically suggested using Filtered’s AI)
- Select which Labels should match the skill.
- Select which Job Roles need to match the skill.
- Click Continue.

Step E: Review and Save
- Review all the configurations for your new skill.
- Click Save to finalize and add your skill to the framework.

Skills can also be added by uploading a spreadsheet. Currently available by contacting success@filtered.com.
